I love Amaretto or other liqueurs for dessert. This could go either way, before or after dinner. I usually don't like the taste of most hard liquors, but the spiced rum with the amaretto was incredibly delicious! The addition of club soda makes it a nice before dinner drink, and, alternatively, the cream makes it a luscious dessert drink. (And I admit to using fat free half and half and it was great.) Thanks to Boomette's Disacolada for the inspiration! Ingredients:
2 ounces spiced rum (i liked captain morgan's tattoo the best-dark, rich and spicy) |
2 ounces amaretto |
2 ounces club soda or 2 ounces cream |
Directions:
1. Mix amaretto and rum well. 2. Pour over ice. 3. Add either soda or cream and stir gently. 4. Enjoy. |
