These are great on salads! Ingredients:
1/2 lb almonds |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon paprika |
1/4 teaspoon five-spice powder |
1 pinch ground cloves |
1 pinch cayenne |
1 tablespoon corn syrup |
Directions:
1. Heat oven 400. 2. Place almonds on a baking sheet. Toast 10-15 minutes, tossing often until golden. 3. Remove. Let cool. 4. Toss with the rest. 5. Return to baking sheet. Roast 10 minutes. 6. Let cool. |
