Moist and spicy. Requested by my Mom. She had me leave the nutmeg out as she could not eat that, so I heaped the measures of the other spices. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon clove |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 cup water |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix in order listed. 2. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 cake pan. 3. Bake 25- 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
