We like this very spicy sauce over green beans but think it may be good over other types of veggies also. Ripped this out of a magazine way back when. The magazine recommended marinating shrimp fallowed by grilling with chopped veggies. Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons garam masala |
2 teaspoons brown sugar |
2 teaspoons turmeric |
1 teaspoon honey |
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce |
1/2 teaspoon sambal oelek chili paste |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 teaspoon gingerroot, peeled and grated |
2 tablespoons oil |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. 2. *Using as a sauce toss with very hot veggies in a hot pan for about 30 seconds. 3. **Using as a marinade toss with shelled and de-veined shrimp. Turn to coat, marinate for a couple of hours. Grill with chopped veggies. |
