If you like a nutty taste to your recipes then Spelt is an excellent flour to use. It is available in most grocery stores in the natural food section or in specialty health food stores. Ingredients:
1-1/4 cups skim milk or rice milk |
2 tbsp. granulated sugar |
2 tbsp. canola oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
4 cups spelt flour |
2-1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast |
Directions:
1. Place ingredients in the pan of your bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. 2. Select cycle and press Start. 3. This recipe makes 1, 2 pound loaf |
