A great and speedy dish that the whole family will love! Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
2 cups water |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning (i use old el paso) |
2 cups minute rice |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
coarsely crushed tortilla chips |
sour cream (or desired toppings) |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in large frying pan on medium-high heat; drain. 2. Add water and seasoning mix to frying pan and stir. 3. Bring to boil. 4. Mix in rice. 5. Sprinkle with cheese and cover. 6. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes until done. 7. Top with desired toppings and enjoy. |
