This is a very nice recipe for a quick and tasty meal on a cold winter night. Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef |
1 can diced tomato with chilies |
8 ounce can regular tomato sauce |
1 cup water |
1 white onion chopped |
1 green pepper chopped |
3 cloves garlic chopped or minced |
5 tablespoons chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin |
Directions:
1. In a Dutch oven brown ground beef with onion, green pepper and garlic then drain. 2. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water and seasonings then bring to boil. 3. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. |
