Another alternative for adding a little extra flavor to leftover rice... Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1/2 small red bell pepper (diced) |
3 cups cooked white rice |
1 teaspoon turmeric |
1 tablespoon butter |
2 tablespoons parsley flakes |
1/4 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Sauté red bell pepper in olive oil. 2. Prepare Golden Rice by thoroughly mixing remaining the ingredients, cover, and place in the microwave oven for 2 minutes. 3. Remove rice and stir in sautéed red bell pepper. |
