Special Squash Cornbread

Found in an old cookbook. I am submitting the recipe as I found it. For my reference- I use about 5 (5 ) squash.
Ingredients:
3 yellow squash, grated
4 eggs, beaten
12 ounces cottage cheese
1 (8 1/2 ounce) box jiffy cornbread mix
1/2 cup margarine
onion, grated, to taste
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish.
2. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 35 minutes until firm in the middle.
