A pecan pie that even those who don't like pecan pie will love. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 1/2 cups milk |
2 egg yolks, beaten |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 cup ground pecans |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 baked pie crust |
Directions:
1. add flour to sugar, mix beaten egg yolk with milk Add butter and pecans, Stir together in saucepan, cooking over low heat till thick, stirring constantly. 2. remove from heat add vanilla and pour into baked pie crust. 3. Top with meringe. 4. bake in 375 oven till meringue is golden brown. |
