SPECIAL CORN CURRY This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Crews Estate in Nevada, Texas in 1988. This is yummy. I love this recipe and make it very often, especially when good fresh sweet corn is available. Ingredients:
1/4 cup melted butter |
3 cups whole kernel corn |
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper |
3 tablespoons chopped pimiento |
3 tablespoons chopped onion |
1/2 teaspoon curry powder |
3/4 cup sour cream |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine butter, vegetables and curry powder in skillet then cook over low 10 minutes. 2. Stir in sour cream, salt and pepper then heat thoroughly while stirring often. |
