This is a recipe that I fell in love with when I tried it at a bed and breakfast in 1992. I asked the innkeeper for the recipe and she actually gave it to me. Thank you Juanita fr this great recipe. Ingredients:
1 pound carrots scraped and diagonally sliced |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
1/4 cup chopped white onion |
1/4 cup dry white wine |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons granulated sugar |
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan then bring to a boil. 2. Cover and reduce heat then simmer 10 minutes. |
