Special Cake for the Birds |

Make this bird cake and hang it from the trees of bird feeders in mesh bags. Ingredients:
1 cup lard or 1 cup crisco |
1 cup crunchy peanut butter |
1/2 cup honey |
2 eggs (beaten) |
1 cup rolled oats |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 cups whole wheat flour |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and pour into a greased 9 square pan. 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or till a toothpick put in center comes out clean. 3. Cool and cut in squares; put in mesh bags. |
