Ingredients:
6 cups shelled fresh butter beans |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 medium-size green pepper, chopped |
1/4 pound salt pork, sliced |
Directions:
1. Place beans with water to cover in a Dutch oven. Add salt, green pepper, and salt pork; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook, uncovered, over low heat 50 minutes or until beans are tender. |
