spanish rice Ingredients:
2 cups rice |
2 cups tomato sauce |
2 cups water |
1/2 cup onion |
3 tbsp olive oil |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in large frying pan, saute onions then add rice. Continue sauteeing until rice turns white , not glassy. Add water and tomato sauce and a cuople of shakes of salt, wait 1 minute, reduce heat, cover pan and cook 21 minutes, not more, not less. 2. Do NOT open the lid, no peeking. 3. When 21 minutes has passed, turn off burner, and let set 5 minutes 4. Perfect every time |
