Spanish Rice

This was a recipe I found online, and modified to remove the solid veggies, to make a smoother mixture for a burrito
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil
1/4 tablespoon onion powder
1 1/2 cups rice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup tomato sauce
Directions:
1. In a large sauce pan, heat oil over medium heat.
2. Add dry rice as well as onion and garlic powders and cook for about 5 minutes or until rice becomes a golden brown.
3. Add in broth and then tomato sauce slowly to avoid splashing.
4. Stir and bring to a boil.
5. Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer for 20-25 minutes (keep pot covered).
6. Fluff with a fork, and serve.
