Spanish Noodles and Ground Beef |

Bacon adds flavor to this comforting stovetop supper. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 small green pepper, chopped |
1/3 chopped onion |
3 1/4 cups uncooked medium egg noodles |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 cup water |
1/4 cup chili sauce |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
4 bacon, strips cooked and crumbled |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, cook the beef, green pepper, and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, and drain. 2. Stir in noodles, tomatoes, water, chili sauce, salt, and pepper. 3. Cover, and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes or until the noodles are tender, stirring frequently. 4. Top with bacon. |
