My favorite soup ever! Ingredients:
2 chorizos (spanish sausage) sliced |
1 large onion |
3 cloves garlic |
salt and pepper |
3 or 4 medium potatoes diced (save water for soup) |
4 cans garbanzo beans with liquid |
large pinch of saffron threads |
water |
1 c. cubed ham |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a large pot nad simmer for several hours. 2. Leftover soup will keep at least a week, and gets better the longer it sits. 3. You can also add ham hocks if you like. |
