Spaghetti with Broccoli and Ham |

When you serve this refreshingly low-fat pasta dish, all you need to complete the meal are some marinated tomatoes and crispy breadsticks. Ingredients:
3 ounces uncooked spaghetti |
1 cup small broccoli florets |
1/2 cup light alfredo sauce (such as contadina) |
1/2 cup diced low-sodium ham (about 2 1/2 ounces) |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
2 teaspoons grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling water 9 minutes, omitting salt and fat. Add broccoli; cook 1 minute. Drain well. 2. Combine Alfredo sauce and ham in a small saucepan. Cook 2 minutes or until hot. Add spaghetti mixture and pepper, and cook until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle each serving with 1 teaspoon cheese. |
