Spaghetti With An Attitude |

A very hearty, spicy spaghetti. A green salad and garlic bread would round out the meal. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 egg |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon italian seasoning |
1/2 lb italian sausage, chopped |
1 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup chopped green pepper |
2 (28 ounce) cans whole tomatoes, drained and chopped |
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 (14 ounce) can beef broth |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
2 teaspoons minced garlic |
2 teaspoons basil |
2 teaspoons oregano |
1 teaspoon rosemary |
1 teaspoon sugar |
salt and pepper |
hot cooked spaghetti |
fresh, grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Mix well first 7 ingredients. 2. Form into small balls. 3. Brown in dutch oven over med. 4. heat. 5. Drain and set aside. 6. In same pan, cook sausage, onion and green pepper until vegetables are soft. 7. Add remaining ingredients. 8. Add meatballs. 9. Bring to a boil. 10. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2 hours. 11. Serve over spaghetti, sprinkle with parmesan. |
