A family favorite! Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger meat |
1 lb italian sausage, ground |
1 large onion, chopped |
4 garlic cloves, chopped |
2 cups mushrooms, sliced |
1 tablespoon italian seasoning |
3 (28 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce |
1 cup red wine |
1 teaspoon anise |
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger and sausage with onion, garlic and mushrooms. Drain. 2. Add remaining ingredients PLUS 2 jars of water. 3. Cook partially uncovered for 3-4 hours until sauce cooks down to desired consistency, stirring frequently. |
