I start this recipe early in the day and let it simmer all day. By the time dinner is ready the sauce is amazing!! Ingredients:
1 lb ground chuck |
1/2 lb sausage |
3 tablespoons oregano |
1 tablespoon italian seasoning |
1 tablespoon basil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1 (16 ounce) can mushrooms (drained) |
1 (16 ounce) can tomato paste |
2 (32 ounce) cans meatless spaghetti sauce |
2 -3 bay leaves |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
1/2 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Bring mixture to a slight boil. Turn down heat. Simmer 4-5 hours stirring every so often so mixture doesn't stick. |
