Seattle's Space Needle is ranked as one of the top 20 independent restaurants in the United States. Try this on my Space Needle apple pie! Ingredients:
4 cups apple juice |
1 ounce dried apple, minced (about 1/4 cup) |
1 1/2 cups butter |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Combine apple juice and apples in a medium saucepan; cook over high heat about 20 minutes or until reduced and the consistency of syrup, stirring occasionally.
2. Remove saucepan from heat; slowly beat in small amounts of butter until all has been incorporated.
3. Beat in cinnamon.
4. This mixture is sensitive to heat - avoid excessive cold or hot temperatures.
