A different approach to better eating Ingredients:
1 lb turkey (ground or whole) |
1/2 lb penne pasta, cooked |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1/2 tablespoon garlic salt |
1 (15 ounce) can black beans |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon hot sauce |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 cups chicken broth |
Directions:
1. saute turkey in nonstick skillet over medium heat and a little olive oil if needed. 2. add seasonings to meat when meat is about half way done, meat will become dark. 3. add beans and pasta and broth and hot sauce. 4. let cook for 5 minutes. 5. top with cheese if desired. |
