Provide forks and plates when you have this tangy dish,can also be served as a main dish Ingredients:
2 (1 1/2) pound flank steaks |
1 1.25- oz) envelope dried taco seasoning mix |
1/3 cup lime juice |
1/4 cup water |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
vegetable cooking spray |
easy cranberry salsa |
1 (12oz) pkg cranberry rasberry crushed fruit (we use ocean spray cran-fruit for chicken) |
2 green onion,thinly sliced |
2 or 3 tbsp chopped canned jalapeno peppers |
2 tbsp fresh lime juice |
2 tsp ground cumin |
1 tbsp cilantro |
comine all ingredients.cover and chill salsa least 2 hrs |
Directions:
1. Place steaks in a shallow dih or heavy -duty zip-top plastic bag 2. Combine seasoning mix and next 3 ingredients, and pour over meat. Cover or seal and refrigerate at least 2 hrs, turning meat occasionally 3. Drain discarding mariade 4. Place steaks on a rack coated with vegetable spray; place rack in broiler pan. 5. Broil 6 inches form heat 5 to 7 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness. Slice steaks diagonally across grain into thin strips.Serve steak with Easy Cranberry Salsa. |
