A few changes to a Lipton onion soup recipe made the magnificant crockpot pork roast. The smell cooking was unbelievable! Ingredients:
2-1/2 lbs. boneless pork roast |
1 envelope lipton® recipe secrets® onion soup mix |
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 can rotel tomatoes with chiles |
3 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar |
2 tsp. chili powder |
1 tsp. ground cumin |
2 tbsp. cornstarch |
1/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. In slow cooker, arrange pork. 2. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over pork. 3. Cook covered on LOW 8 to 10 hours or HIGH 4 to 6 hours or until pork is tender. 4. Take pork out and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes. 5. Mix cornstarch with water and add to liquid in crock pot and turn on high until slightly thickened. 6. Slice meat - it will fall apart it is so moist. 7. Spoon sauce over meat. 8. Serve, if desired, with hot cooked noodles or rice. |
