This is actually a doubling of the recipe my friend gave me. It makes a lot but it was easier and less wasteful than trying to use half a can of tomato sauce and helped avoid guessing the halfway point of the italian dressing bottle. The recipe as I'm giving it is enough for about 8 regular sized (1/2 ) porkchops or 4 cutlets. It's also good on chicken and can be made low fat by using lite or fat free italian dressing. You can also use the left over marinade (heated) to pour over the meat once it's plated for a pretty presentation. Ingredients:
1 bottle italian dressing |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
2 tablespoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients together and pour over the meat. 2. simple as that! |
