One of my friends turned me on to the whole corn bake thing and I love trying other versions of this recipe. Ingredients:
2 (16 ounce) cans cream-style corn |
2 eggs, beaten |
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
6 tablespoons salad oil |
1 (4 ounce) can green chilies |
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients except green chiles and cheese. 2. Divide mix in half. 3. Place half in greased 8 inch square baking dish. 4. Mix together green chiles and cheese; lay on top of corn mixture in pan. 5. Cover with remaining mixture. 6. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes. |
