This is an all-time party favorite. You can adjust it to be as mild or spicy as you would like. So far I have not had a guest not enjoy the dip during our gatherings! Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground beef |
1 cup frozen corn |
1/2 cup salsa |
1/2 cup mild taco sauce |
1 (4 ounce) can diced mild green chilies (optional) |
1/2 cup chopped onion (optional) |
1 (4 ounce) can slieced ripe olives, drained |
1 cup shredded mexican blend cheese |
tortilla chips |
sour cream |
Directions:
1. Brown gound beef in nonstick skillet over med-high heat, sitting to break up meat. Drain fat. Spoon meat into slow cooker. 2. Add corn, onion, salsa, taco sauce, chilies, and olives to slow cooker; mix well; cook on LOW 2 to 3 hours. 3. Just before erving, stir in cheese. Serve with tortilla chips and sour cream. 4. Tip: To keep this dip hot through an entire party, simply leave it in the slow cooker on LOW. |
