Southwest Style Grilled Turkey Burgers |

This is a delicious mildly hot burger that is a good one for those barbecue days of summer!! Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey or 1 lb chicken |
1/4 cup bick's hot pepper rings, chopped |
1/3 cup bick's sweet corn relish |
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped |
1/4 teaspoon dried chipotle powder |
1 garlic clove, minced |
12 teaspoons salt |
pepper |
6 hamburger buns |
6 slices old cheddar cheese |
bick's sandwich savers bick's pepper rings-hot, tomato slices, lettuce, guacamole (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine all burger ingredients. 2. Wet hands and form into 6 patties. (mixture will be sticky). 3. Lightly oil grill and preheat to medium high. 4. Grill burgers, covered, 3-5 minutes per side or until juices run clear. 5. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings. 6. TIP: For a healthier option, use whole wheat pita bread and eliminate cheese. |
