Ingredients:
3 cups water |
3 english breakfast or other black tea bags |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons) |
2 tablespoons honey |
Directions:
1. Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan; remove from heat. Add tea bags; cover and steep 10 minutes. 2. Remove and discard tea bags. Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Add lemon juice and honey, stirring until honey dissolves. Place pan in a large ice-filled bowl for 5 minutes or until cool, stirring occasionally. 3. Pour tea mixture into an 11 x 7-inch glass or ceramic baking dish. Cover and freeze until partially frozen (about 1 hour). Scrape with a fork, crushing any lumps. Freeze, scraping with a fork every 30 minutes, 1 hour or until completely frozen. |
