Easy. Filling is poured into an unbaked pie shell and baked in the oven. Sweet, tart, and delicious. Ingredients:
5 eggs |
1-1/2 cups white corn syrup |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice |
grated rind of one lemon |
1/2 stick unsalted butter, melted |
Directions:
1. In bowl, beat eggs well 2. Add corn syrup, sugar lemon juice, and grated lemon rind 3. Add melted butter 4. Beat to mix well 5. Pour into unbaked pie shell 6. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes 7. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 25-35 minutes longer |
