Serve with butter beans, mashed potatoes, gravy and corn bread! Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1 cup water |
4 pork loin chops |
2 cups vegetable shortening |
Directions:
1. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Place water in another shallow dish. Dip pork chops first in water, then in the flour mixture, coating completely. 2. In a large skillet, heat shortening over medium high heat until hot. Add pork chops and cook about 8 minutes on each side. Make sure the coating is golden. Place in a paper towel lined platter to drain. |
