Southern Style Creamed Corn |

I made this one day bc my BF took me to a BBQ place and ordered it. Thought I could remake it at home and this is what I came up with. Enjoy! Ingredients:
2 slices bacon |
2 (14 ounce) cans corn |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 pinch cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
pepper |
1 tablespoon flour |
3/4 cup milk |
parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon in pan and remove, leaving drippings. 2. Add drained corn and crumbled bacon. 3. Add butter and saute. 4. Stir in seasonings to taste. 5. Stir in flour to coat. 6. Add milk slowly. Stir til thickened. 7. Pour in serving dish and top with parmesan cheese. 8. Enjoy! |
