A tasty cabbage recipe that is quick, easy, and even my vegetable hating son likes. I do not recall who originally gave me this recipe. Ingredients:
1/2 lb bacon |
1 head green cabbage, sliced |
1 medium onion, sliced |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Brown bacon in a dutch oven or large pan until crisp. 2. Remove bacon and set aside to drain and cool. 3. Place sliced onion in pan and top with cabbage and crumbled bacon. 4. Cover and cook over medium to medium high heat until done to your likeing. 5. Salt and pepper to taste. |
