This is a recipe from Better Homes & Gardens. It's important to use good quality bourbon. Ingredients:
3 eggs |
1 cup corn syrup |
2/3 cup sugar |
1/3 cup butter, melted |
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour |
2 tablespoons bourbon whiskey |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/2 cups pecan halves |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl beat together eggs and flour. Stir in corn syrup, sugar, butter, flour, bourbon, and vanilla. Blend well. Stir in the pecan halves. 2. Pour the pecan mixture into a pastry lined pie plate and cover with foil. Bake with foil at 350°F for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes. |
