A very delciious recipe from the Old South - M-M-M-M-M-M GOOD!! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup corn syrup |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
3 eggs, well beaten |
1 cup planters pecans, halves |
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, syrup and butter. 2. Add eggs and pecans. 3. Fill unbaked pie shell with mixture and bake in moderately hot oven (400F) for 10 minutes. 4. Reduce heat to moderate oven (350F) and continue baking for another 30-35 minutes. |
