One of my Grandmothers many hand written recipes I inherited from her and compiled to a cookbook for the family. Ingredients:
12 eggs, separated |
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 cups very finely chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Beat egg whites and salt until foamy. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff but not dry. Beat yolks until thick, fold into whites. Gently fold in pecans. 2. Bake in tube ban at 350ยบ for 50 minutes. |
