This is tried and true and oh so good. My neighbor makes this every summer when his peaches are plentiful. Greatness. Enjoy Ingredients:
3 cups cream |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons milk |
3 egg yolks |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon white vanilla |
1-1/2 cups peaches skinned stoned and pureed |
Directions:
1. Scald cream in a double boiler then blend flour with milk and add to hot cream. 2. Beat eggs with sugar then slowly add to hot cream then add vanilla and cook until thick. 3. Cool and chill then stir in peaches and freeze according to directions of ice cream maker. |
