These are great potatoes.. They go with most any type of meat...Very flavorful.. Ingredients:
2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1 small carton sour cream |
1/4 cup melted butter |
3/4 cup butter |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 can cream of chicken soup |
1 small jar cheese whiz |
2 cups crushed corn flakes |
Directions:
1. Defrost potatoes. 2. Combine 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese. 3. Mix thoroughly. 4. Pour over potatoes in a 3 quart baking dish. 5. Mix 1/4 cup butter and cornflakes; sprinkle on top. 6. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. 7. Cream of celery soup may be used for the chicken soup and 2 cups grated cheese may be used instead of cheese whiz... |
