This is an awesome recipe for catfish coating....Try it... Ingredients:
catfish fillets (however many you need) |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
7 oz seven up |
1 cup yellow cornmeal |
1/4 cup grits |
oil to fry in |
Directions:
1. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper.
2. Mix cornmeal and grits in separate bowl.
3. Dip fish in 7 up then roll in cornmeal mixture.
4. Fry fish in hot oil until brown and crisp.
5. Drain on paper towel.
6. Serve with hushpuppies and tartar sauce.
