I found this in The Harbor House retirement community cookbook. My sister works there and got it for me as a present. I'm going to make this on Thanksgiving as a sidedish. It sounds good so I decided to post it for others to try too! Ingredients:
3 cups corn (canned or cut) |
3 eggs (slightly beaten) |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
3 tablespoons bacon grease |
1 1/8 cups scalded milk |
Directions:
1. Combine corn and remaining ingredients. 2. Pour into a casserole dish that has been lightly sprayed with Pam and bake at 325°Ffor 30 to 40 minutes until firm. |
