Ingredients:
2 cups dried lima beans, soaked and drained |
4 1/2 cups water |
1/4 pound salt pork, sliced |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine beans, water, salt pork, salt, and pepper in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 2 1/2 hours or until beans are tender. |
