Southern Chicken Vegetable Soup |

Spicy twist to simple chicken vegetable soup. Ingredients:
1 (49.5 oz) can fat free chicken broth |
2 (12.5 oz) cans chicken breast, drained. |
3 c. frozen mixed vegetables. |
1 3/4 c. rainbow rotini |
1 can rotel tomatoes (this is what makes it spicy!) |
3/4 tsp. onion powder. |
salt and pepper to taste. |
Directions:
1. Bring broth to a boil in a large saucepan. 2. Add drained chicken that has been chopped into bite sized pieces, vegetables, rotini, whole can of rotel tomatoes, and onion powder. 3. Reduce heat; simmer for 7-8 minutes or until pasta is tender. 4. Add salt and pepper to taste. |
