Ingredients:
5 cups water |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 1/2 cups uncooked quick grits |
1 (6-ounce) roll sharp cheese spread |
1 (6-ounce) roll garlic-cheese spread |
3/4 cup butter or margarine |
4 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Bring water and salt to a boil in a large Dutch oven; gradually add grits, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; cook, uncovered, 3 minutes. Add cheese and butter; stir until melted. Add eggs, milk, and pepper; stir well. 2. Pour mixture into a greased 3- quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serve immediately. |
