South-of-the-Border Chili with Hearty Meat Sauce

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups hearty meat sauce
1 cup drained canned low-sodium pinto beans
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon seeded, chopped jalapeno pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
dash of salt
1 tablespoon shredded reduced-fat monterey jack cheese
1 tablespoon chopped green onions
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. To serve, ladle chili into 2 bowls; sprinkle evenly with cheese, green onions, and cilantro.
