Rice with a sweet spicy taste! Ingredients:
3 tablespoons vegetable oil |
2 cups long grain white rice |
2 cinnamon sticks |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon turmeric |
1 cup raisins |
3 1/2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a medium-size saucepan. Add the rice, and stir to coat completely. Add the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, cover, and let simmer over low heat until all the water is absorbed. |
