I like Pizza and I enjoy an good home made pizza dough hope you do too. Ingredients:
2 pkg dry yeast |
1 cup water |
1/2 cup sourdough starter |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp sugar |
1tsp crushed italian seasoning |
4 tbs olive oil |
4 cups all-purpose flour |
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water 2. stir in sugar, salt, oil, seasoning and flour 3. Turn onto floured surface knead in enough flour to prevent sticking 4. Place in a oiled bowl and let rise in a worm place for at least 10 minutes. I go about an hour normally, depends on how much time you have. Sometimes I will punch it down and let it rise again. It depends on how big of a hurry I am in. 5. I have done this in both a bread maker and a bowl and it works both ways. It will make enough dough for two nice pies. |
