Ingredients:
3 large eggs, well beaten
1 cup sweet milk
2 cups active starter
1 3/4 cups unbleached flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Beat eggs.
2. Add milk and starter.
3. Sift together the flour, soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
4. Mix together.
5. Drop onto hot griddle by large spoonsful.
6. NOTE:
7. If ungreased griddle is used add 1/4 c Melted Fat to the above recipe.
8. Bacon fat give a great taste.
