Sourdough Apple Carrot Bread |

This recipe uses a sourdough starter. Everyone in our family loves it and it makes me happy to be able to use my sourdough starter. Ingredients:
1 cup sourdough starter |
2/3 cup sugar |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
2 large eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 cup granny smith apple, unpeeled and shredded |
1/2 cup carrot, shredded |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon sea salt |
1 3/4 cups flour |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
1/2 cup coconut |
Directions:
1. Mix all and pour into a greased loaf pan. 2. Let set for 15 minutes. 3. Bake at 350 degrees F. 4. for 60 minutes or until it tests done with a pick. 5. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack. |
